I like it. It was a tall order, as people are so used to beats that start with the kick and have snares on the 2nd and 4th beat, but it was fun trying. Kinda similar to my ‘Revolution Inc’ tune off the ‘FreQ’s Geeks and Mutilations’ album, in that the beat is more about the funk and syncopation than meeting the expectations of the dancefloor (and my primary market). It’s this kind of attitude that will either make me a millionaire or send me to a pauper’s grave and I’m still not sure which.”
